For 12 years, Pamela Skillings served in senior-level marketing and HR roles at Fortune 500 companies such as Citigroup and MasterCard International.

In 2005, she left the corporate world to start Skillful Communications. Since then she has worked with dozens of corporate and institutional clients and hundreds of individual job seekers and career changers.

In addition, Pamela is an adjunct professor at New York University, teaching courses in their graduate and continuing education programs for HR executives and career coaches.

She is the author of Escape from Corporate America: A Practical Guide to Creating the Career of Your Dreams (Ballantine, 2008), and has been featured as a career expert  by The New York Times, Newsweek, ABC News, Forbes, and other media outlets.

Pamela’s  formal training in career development and coaching is through New York University and the Professional Association for Resume Writers and Career Coaches.  She is a certified career coach and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator practitioner.
